Dear House... I am breaking up with you

Wow... I have been busy! We have accomplished so much in the past few weeks! We closed on our dream home and the next day began renovations! Let me update with what we have done thus far! and then after this my house and I are separating for an unknown amount of time... we need our space to regain the love we once had; prior to the renovations.

Our first project was our incredibly rotted laundry room! I made this top priority because well, a girl without clean laundry is a girl no one wants to be around :o)

And this is my laundry room with walls! Yes it has walls and a floor!

Our next project was another biggy... We had to replace a nasty back door that wouldn't open! Todd and his cousin did a FABULOUS job! I love my new doors!

Another project we tackled is less obvious to most... and I forgot to get before photos!!! I ripped the nasty blue carpet off of my BEAUTIFUL original hardwoods!

And this is what my kitchen looks like right now as we speak!!! This is my current project!

But Todd is fabulous and hung my chandelier for me ... I LOVE it in there!!!
